Anti-doping Rules and International Standards

FIAS Anti-Doping programme seeks to preserve the spirit of SAMBO sports, fair play, honesty and the health of the Athletes. Any member of FIAS is obligated to behave in accordance to the FIAS Anti-Doping Rules which came into effect January 1, 2015.

The FIAS Anti-Doping Rules are compiled in accordance with the 2015 World Anti-Doping Code. The 2015 World Anti-Doping Code works in conjunction with the 2015 Prohibited List as well as the 2015 International Standards including:

International Standard for Testing and Investigations (ISTI)
International Standard for Laboratories (ISL)
International Standard for Therapeutic Use Exemptions (ISTUE)
International Standard for the Protection of Privacy and Personal Information (ISPPPI)

Athletes if you are currently on medication that may or is currently banned you may be able to file an exemption with FIAS. Most likely they will need a prescription and your current doctors information.
